Alexandra C. Johansen
B.Sc. (Hons), NZCS, Geologist
With over 14 years experience in the geological and geotechnical fields, Alexandra has a proven track record in the geotechnical and oil industry fields. Alexandra is knowledgeable on East Coast Basin geology, field mapping formations and identifying areas of interest with respect to assessing prospectivity.
Alexandra gained experience in the oil industry with Southern Petroleum NL and Geological Research Ltd., while engagements with Elf Hydrocarbons in Singapore and various exploratory well site contracts honed her skills at interpreting geological data. More recently, Alexandra has been a geotechnical specialist, investigating the geology and geomorphology of development areas.
Alexandra gained a BSc (Hons) Geology from Victoria University of Wellington, NZ and an NZCS (Geology) from TOPNZ, Wellington, after which she researched reservoir analysis and published several papers. Alexandra has recently joined EAM to work on hydrogeological projects, oil exploration, contaminated site investigations and geotechnical assessments.
