BSc, Hydrogeologist and Contaminated Site Consultant

Karen gained her Environmental Science degree at the Flinders University of South Australia in 2004 before commencing work with the South Australian government as a research hydrogeologist in her home town of Mount Gambier. A move into the private consulting sector shifted her work focus to contaminated site investigations, environmental site assessments and soil and groundwater investigations. 

Moving to New Zealand in 2008, Karen has progressed to working with bio-solids re-use schemes, resource consenting, Assessment of Environmental Effects and groundwater assessments. Since joining the team at EAM in 2009, Karen has focussed on hydrogeological assessments, contaminated site investigations and environmental site assessments for land subdivision and rezoning.

Karen has over 5 years experience with soil and groundwater assessment, groundwater exploration, water quality assessment and contaminated site investigations.
