Susan attained her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Geology) from Trinity College, Dublin and following graduation worked for a period as an exploration geologist in the goldfields of Western Australia. Upon moving to the UK she gained a post-graduate degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of London, Imperial College. This resulted in a move to the Environmental Sector and 5 years working as a contaminated site consultant in Belfast and London, specialising in the investigation and remediation of soil and groundwater affected by hydrocarbon contamination. Since joining EAM as a company director her focus has expanded to include groundwater investigations and aquifer assessments for resource consent.
